Text Box:   August 2008   Worthy Brother Sir Knights of Christ:   The trustees have completed their annual audit of the Assembly’s accounts and have found that all funds have been properly handled during the past fraternal year.  My congratulations and appreciation to Past Faithful Navigator, Reynolds Blackburn, Purser Eric Bruns and former Comptroller, Ernie Useted for their professionalism in the handling of the funds.  We would like to thank Trustees Keith Milson, Bob Hawkins, Jim Cooper and former Trustee, Dan Parsons for their service to the Assembly.   The annual Honor Guard Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 10th at 12 Noon.  The new location is the K of C Hall, Council 6018, 1623 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. 63010. Give Dan Raidt a call to RSVP, 636-256-4994 or e-mail draidt@charter.net.  Remember to bring a side dish or dessert and your children or grandchildren.   Beginning with our September 4th Degree Assembly Meeting we will offer wheel chair assistance to and from our meeting room for those with ambulatory or pulmonary issues.  Thanks to Sir Knight Michael Hall who responded to my request to the Honor Guard for wheel chair donations.  Mike will deliver two wheel chairs to Rigali Center at our August Meeting.  Stan Jackson, our Civic Chairman, will escort those needing special assistance with pre-arrangements.  His number is 314-664-4688.   Coming Soon   Free Catholic Bibles for recruits at Ft.
