Brother Knights of Christ:

 

On behalf of the Assembly I would like to recognize the dedication and devotion to duty our Honor Guard has shown over the last few months.  The response to the high number of call outs has been outstanding.  We also commend Executive Officer Dan Raidt and his wife Carla for the “extra effort” put forth as hosts of the recent Honor Guard Picnic.

 

The Missouri State Council Knights of Columbus Family Pilgrimage and Day of Prayer will he held on Oct 5, 2008 in Starkenburg, Mo at Our Lady of Sorrows Shrine and Grotto.  This is a state wide call out for Honor Guard.  For more information and directions go to www.historicshrine.org/.

 

Enclosed in this mailing are our raffle tickets for the Honor Guard Christmas raffle.  Please show your appreciation for the Honor Guard by supporting this fund raiser.  Ticket stubs and checks, made payable to St. Louis Assembly 4^th Degree Honor Guard, should be mailed to Eric Bruns, 4824 Siegel Ave. St. Louis, Mo. 63116. The Drawing is to be held on Dec. 6, 2008 at the Honor Guard Christmas Party.

 

Our Class Chairman Rick Schmidt reminds us to begin our recruitment efforts for the Fourth Degree Exemplification to be held on March 7, 2009 at the Airport Marriott Hotel.

 

Our next 4^th Degree Meeting will be held on Sept 10^th at the Cardinal Rigali Center.  We hope to see you there.
